Abstract

Museums function as important scientific and educational institutions in the life of society, carrying out the tasks of studying, preserving, and disseminating historical and cultural heritage to the general public. Along with safeguarding national heritage, they contribute to the spiritual and cultural development of society through its scientific research and promotion. This article analyzes the scientific and practical aspects of using interactive technologies in modern museum exhibitions. The possibilities of enhancing the scientific-educational, communicative, and educational functions of museums through digital, multimedia, virtual, and augmented reality tools are examined. In addition, the impact of interactive technologies on visitors’ perception processes and their active engagement within the museum environment is revealed. The research findings substantiate the significance of interactive approaches in the development of museology and in the popularization of cultural heritage.
