This article scientifically analyzes the role and importance of foreign trade in the economic development of the region. In the course of the research, the dynamics of foreign trade activities of the Khorezm region, export-import operations and their impact on the economic growth of the region were studied. Also, the interrelationships between the growth rates of foreign trade turnover in the region, the increase in export volumes and the activation of investment processes were analyzed.
