COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SOCIOCULTURAL COMPONENTS IN NATIONAL-CULTURAL VOCABULARY AND REALIA IN THE UZBEK AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

This article presents a comparative analysis of sociocultural components in national-cultural vocabulary and realia in the Uzbek and English languages. The study examines realia specific to both languages and analyzes their semantic, linguocultural, and pragmatic features. Particular attention is given to the challenges of translating realia and the strategies for their adequate rendering. The findings reveal similarities and differences between national-cultural units in the two languages and highlight their role in reflecting the relationship between language and culture.
