This scientific article examines the unique role and significance of Mahmud Kashgari's great legacy, "Devonu lug'otit turk", in the study of the oral culture (folklore) of the Turkic peoples. Written in the 11th century, this work is not just a dictionary, but a perfect encyclopedia that embodies the lifestyle, worldview, beliefs and artistic thinking of the Turkic peoples of that time. The article examines the importance of innovative technologies in the development of national pedagogical values in high school students based on the work.
