THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF ELECTORAL CULTURE IN DEMOCRATIC PROCESSES

This article analyzes the role and importance of electoral culture in democratic processes in the context of political and legal reforms in Uzbekistan. Electoral culture is assessed as a “bridge” between legal norms and societal values, and its role in shaping voters' informed participation, political trust, and immunity against disinformation is analyzed. The article analyzes the digitization of the electoral system, Based on the experience of the 2024 parliamentary elections, the article scientifically substantiates strategic directions for enhancing electoral culture, including systematic civic education and political socialization, through the implementation of the “Electronic Voting” system.
