LINGUISTIC IDENTIFICATION AND CULTURAL CODES

This article analyzes the process of linguistic and cultural identification of a person based on the interaction of language and culture. Language is considered not only a means of communication, but also an important tool for social and cultural self-awareness of a person. Based on the linguistic personality model (Karaulov, 1987) and the lexical-semantic approach (Wierzbicka, 1997), the speech formation of the personality is covered from a sociocognitive point of view. Analyzes conducted on the basis of interdisciplinary methodology, in particular, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistic observation and theoretical analysis, reveal how a person's linguistic identification is related to the level of mastery of cultural codes. The research results show that the linguistic development of a person is formed by the interaction of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors. Modern digital technologies and the process of globalization strongly influence this formation as new factors.
