This article briefly presents the researcher's thoughts on the political and administrative units of the Bukhara Emirate and the ethnic composition of its population during the late 19th century and early 20th century. It primarily discusses the administrative-territorial structure of the Bukhara Emirate, its population, demographic composition, the territories inhabited by ethnic groups, and the languages spoken. Additionally, the article provides a brief overview of place names related to the population of Bukhara province, a significant central region of the Bukhara Emirate, and their ethnic composition, highlighting that the province consisted of dozens of districts and several hundred villages.
