The relevance of teaching technical disciplines in higher education, the widespread use of semiconductor devices in modern digital technology and automation systems, and the need to connect their study with practical activities are discussed. The importance of practical knowledge and problem-oriented learning for developing future engineers’ professional competence is examined. Approaches to linking practical assignments with workplace tasks through university–enterprise cooperation within dual education are proposed.
