LEXICAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT “YOUTH” IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

This article analyzes the concept of “youth” in Uzbek and English based on the lexicosemantic field. In both languages, youth is interpreted as a period of vitality, opportunity, and recklessness; however, in Uzbek, it is more closely related to societal and family values, while in English, it is associated with freedom and individual opportunities. Phraseological units reflect the cultural and linguistic characteristics of youth. The findings are important for cultural studies and linguistic research.
