Abstract

This thesis analyzes the legal, technical, and organizational problems arising in the process of collecting digital evidence. The rapid development of information technologies has led to the migration of crime into the digital environment, which places new tasks before law enforcement agencies regarding the detection, preservation, and admissibility of digital traces in judicial practice. The study examines gaps in existing legislation, the shortage of qualified specialists, insufficient technical resources, and problems in international cooperation. Scientifically grounded proposals for eliminating these problems are also developed.
