INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND INTEGRATION OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN COLLECTING DIGITAL EVIDENCE

This research analyzes international cooperation mechanisms and modern technology integration in digital evidence collection within the context of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The transnational nature of cybercrimes necessitates interstate cooperation in collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence. The study employs comparative-legal, systemic-structural, and empirical methods. International experience was examined based on the Budapest Convention, INTERPOL protocols, and ISO/IEC 27037 standards. Considering the 35-40% increase in cybercrimes in Uzbekistan during 2022-2024, national legislation and practices were analyzed. Results indicate that Uzbekistan needs to implement artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, and cloud forensics tools in digital evidence collection. The research provides practical recommendations for modernizing national law enforcement agencies, expanding the international treaty system, and enhancing specialist qualifications. Within international cooperation framework, accession to the Budapest Convention, establishment of a Regional Cybercrime Center in the CIS, and deepening integration with INTERPOL are proposed.
