Abstract

This article discusses the issues of developing professional and pedagogical competencies of future interior design teachers using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the higher pedagogical education system. The study developed a didactic model for reducing technical loads in traditional teaching and effectively using generative AI and its four-stage integration mechanism (concept and prompt engineering, generative visualization, technical verification and pedagogical and methodological transfer). Also, new descriptors are proposed for the educational-functional classification of SI tools and an objective assessment of students' creative analysis. The research results and practical recommendations will serve to modernize the design curricula of higher education institutions and improve the digital skills of future teachers.
