Abstract

This article examines the fundamental and urgent transformation processes taking place in the education system in the first quarter of the 21st century under the influence of the global labor market and the psychology of the digital generation (Gen Z, Alpha). In the context of the forecasts of the World Economic Forum, the crisis of traditional educational models and the transformation of the skill of "learning to read" (learnability) into a primary necessity are substantiated. The article systematically analyzes the content and essence of the main trends that determine today's educational processes - artificial intelligence (AI), personalized learning, hybrid and micro-learning, gamification and VR/AR technologies. Also, modern forms and approaches of education are scientifically classified according to the criteria of time-space (synchronous, asynchronous, mixed), continuity (Lifelong learning, Upskilling, Reskilling) and interdisciplinary integration (STEAM, Phenomenon-based education). At the end of the article, the strategic importance of successfully adapting these innovative trends to the national education system is revealed.
